"The breakfast/lunch to go package was very nice for the price. Very handy to take on our trips our for the day. In the kitchen area they need to label more of the drawers and cabinets. Had to literally open every one to find the garbage. Label in multiple languages. "

"Excellent value hotel - clean and comfortable. Outdoor pool looked nice (unfortunately, it was raining, so we didn't get to take advantage of it). Staff was friendly. Breakfast is typical German/Swiss (Bread, meat, cheese, yogurt, juice, muesli, coffee/tea). Great stopover traveling between Germany and Italy. Free parking right out front of the building - very convenient! "

"What a great experience at GRAND! My family and I have never stayed at shared place before, and I am blown away at how great this place accommodated us. It's in a perfect location to explore the mountains, was beautifully decorated / clean, and the technology to access everything made it so easy to get in and out. Thanks for a wonder stay. If I'm ever back in Engelberg (and I plan on it), I'll be staying at the GRAND!"

"In staying at 9 different hotels for our 2 week vacation this was our favorite hotel. We took the Gondola up to the hotel and then from there it was very easy to go to Grindelwald 'First' and was very accesible to some great hikes in the area, and then once the Gondola stopped at 6:00 p.m. it became very quiet and peaceful at the hotel.
