"Lovely place However, AC was not working and needed to be on when we arrived. Far to hot. When we tiried to turn on, it was broken. A fan was provided, which helped, . But as warmth is insured on arrival during colder days, AC needs the same consideration in the hotter temperatures"

"Nice hotel just needs ripped wallpaper replaced ,hallways looked shabby.Room just ok, no wardrobe just a hook on a very squeaky bathroom door.Wasnt told our room key also unlocked main front door so was locked out for 10 minutes at 11.45pm.Staff nice & breakfast very tasty .Gardens also nice"

"Clean, spacious family room. Patchy wi-fi, slightly out-dated bathroom but clean and usable. Basic pub grub, but be aware they don’t do breakfast. Lots to do in the area and a good price, would definitely stay again."

"Very good dinner menu with excellent staff. Breakfast offering was not so great. Bedroom (45) was poorly situated above the kitchen extractor and, whilst spotlessly clean, had a intercommunicating door which offered little noise insulation. The bathroom was stark, even by Premier Inn standards, and the offering of gels and soaps was poor. Hotel is in a lovely setting overlooking Dale End Park and the river beyond."
