"The log cabin lodge is run by Sasaki San and his mum. Lovely people. The place was clean and very quiet. All we heard were the birds and great view of the lake. Sunset made the island shine and a rainbow to appear. Since the cabin is surrounded by nature, just keep the insect screens in place when the verandah doors are open and all is good. I like everything except the earlier afternoon shuttle service. The hotel provides free shuttle service to nearby ski resort Annupuri. It has 7:30, 8:30am shuttle to Annupuri, and 3pm pick up from Annupuri. The only way to get back to hotel is by taxi if you missed the 3pm shuttle; however, taxi is hard to find overall. If...

"Stayed with a total group of 6. Had plenty of space. Location was clean and the stop for the shuttle was less than a minute walk away. Staff was very accommodating. All in all a great experience and would absolutely book again. "
