"Amazing! The greeting by Marlarnie was so friendly & welcoming & informative. The gardens & pool are so beautifully tended. The pool is heated to a perfect temperature, the lodge was bright & spacious & spotlessly clean with everything we needed. We even had our own patio area to sit out & watch the morning birds with the stunning mountains in the back drop. "Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt mit vielen frei herumlaufenden Tieren! Die Unterkunft war schön, geräumig, sauber und bestens ausgestattet. Wir hatten vorab einen Picknickkorb bestellt und auf der Veranda gegrillt. Obwohl es leicht regnete, haben wir draußen unter einer Decke gesessen, Wein genossen und den Tieren zugesehen. Einfach traumhaft!"

"We had a nice relaxing stay at the cottage. Good location close to good restaurants and museums. It was home from home, somewhere to relax for a couple of nights. One night we ate in the next we went out. In a nice quiet street with private parking and gardens. Would definitely stay there again. The owners looked after us very well."

"Great weekend in the old farmhouse (built in 1760). Quiet and relaxing with everything you need - just bring food, the rest is there. House was spotless and stocked with everything you need from crockery and cutlery to pots and pans, firewood, braai grid, fire lighters and even matches. TV with full DSTV channels was a bonus to watch the rugby. It has 2 separate bedrooms each with a bathroom and can sleep 9 people. Highly recommended. "

"We really enjoyed our stay. Especially our Toy Poodle and Yorkie. They could roam around freely, because the premises is safe and dog-proof. We enjoyed the goodies supplied and the owners are very friendly. The cottage is nice and big and we especially enjoyed the Netflix. Only negatives, here and there things that were not completely clean, like drawers and over gloves, etc but nothing that a thorough clean can't fix. Overall the place was clean enough. We will definitely go again."
