At check-in,I was informed that one of the two rooms (booked 68 days earlier through Expedia) had been cancelled and that hotel was fully booked. Eventually the Duty Manager offered a “good will upgrade” for the cancelled room. I accepted this offer but am still awaiting a reply from Expedia to my lengthy long distance query, after more than seven days. A "thank-you" to the Hampton Inn staff.

Check in was fast and informative. Breakfast is a lot of sweet items. Wish there was bacon on site. Never seen bacon there in a long time. Cookies or treats they usually have on desk is always empty.. didn’t realize they had popcorn last night in hotel lobby and not sure if they only did one batch for the whole hotel. If they did that sucks too. The machine was empty when I went downstairs. And another couple knew about it and they missed out and the staff were like ahh it’s all gone. I do realize it’s a first come first serve but the machine could of been maybe 10-15 brown paper bags at the most for a hotel of how many rooms and another second of rooms added to the building Also being woke up by the fire alarm at 2am in the morning due to someone smoking in the building. Nothin said and no one asked us how our stay was when checking out.

It was March break, so it was very busy. Check in was great. The gentleman was very kind. I also Had my niece there for the pool but there was no towels for us to use and we asked the front desk and they were very rude about it. Knowing it’s March break they should have been prepared for lots of towels to be used. Upon check out the staff was incredibly rude, I did not get a name cause I just wanted to get out of there. I asked if I could pay on debit and was refused. I won’t be in a hurry to get back there

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We do apologize for the lack of availability of towels. We did take measures such as having towels only available from the Front Desk to help with the demand. Admittedly this demand can be difficult for us to predict and we'll try to do better in the future. We'll also pass along your feedback to management regarding your check out. At check in a Credit Card is required however you can pay cash or debit at check out. This should have been better explained to you.

The gentlemen at the front desk was rude when we were checking in. Also I feel the pool should be monitored because there were many kids on the water slide that were jumping and making chains and purposely getting stuck in it which was holding up the line up for the other kids!

Hello, our Hotel is actually located on crown land so we do not currently offer tax exemption. However we do offer a First Nations rate which is not available when booking through a Third Party such as Expedia. Please contact the hotel directly for special rates. Thank you!

The staff were really great especially 2 young fellows that helped out a lot with my small dog so I could grab coffee, etc. Very personable. The rooms were upgraded since the last time I stayed it is a fairly noisy hotel not to sound proof. And the rooms could’ve been a little cleaner, but all in all, it was very convenient and a decent stay.

Good stay. The property is very nice. Area is safe and well lit. Restaurant next door in the convention centre was good but expensive for what it was. There was a team that slammed doors and banged on the walls until almost midnight the first night. Janessa at the front desk was lovely and very informative and helpful. Breakfast was ok. Clean in the food area but they didn’t wipe the tables down often enough and they were visibly on their Phones at the door way. Overall good stay besides the noise

Staff was very accommodating, the room was very clean, and they had an actual crib for my baby. The pool was out of service at the time, we didn't book it for the pool, but i could see how it would be upsetting if someone did. There was no notice prior to our arrival about the pool.

It's very convenient that it's linked by glassed in passerelle to the Trade & Convention Centre in Membertou. No need to get out in winter.

First time staying at the Hampton Inn in Sydney and have been singing your praises to all my friends and family. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and pleasant. Front desk staff, particularly Mark and Amesh were wonderful, giving us directions and keeping us informed. Breakfast was excellent and facilities wonderful. Thank you :)

The front desk worker who introduced the property was nice. However, the room's furniture was worn and in need of replacing, the jacuzzi's electronics (the buttons) didnt work. The room had a general unclean feeling. Some things in the room like the stereo didnt have bluetooth. This was a great room 10 years ago but needs updating. The front desk worker on the way out didnt say hello, he said "what?" And didnt ask how our stay was. "What room you in?" And then he also didnt thank us for staying. Didnt say have a nice day. He said "k its paid". Very unprofessional.
