An absolutely stunning hotel! The views were spectacular, especially sunset. The room was a king with a view and a balcony. Clean, spacious and there in house dining, delicious! Staff went above and beyond. We definitely recommend staying here and we will be going back.

Wonderful Hotel with lovely views. Levi who checked us in was super nice and really helpful, we received a delicious cake sent up to our room which was a wonderful surprise 😄 The room was very clean and the bed was big and comfortable. There was alot to choose from for breakfast and the fruit was nice and fresh too. We had a wonderful stay.

Really enjoyable stay. Staff were very friendly, especially the nice welcome from Taki. Room was comfy and the areas within the hotel were nice for relaxing and dining. The $2 oyster happy hour deal between 5 & 6pm is great! Very friendly service in the restaurant too, the Wednesday evening fish special was delicious.

Excellent choice for a stay in Sydney. Our family stayed here while visiting Australia for the first time. Location was wonderful - right on the water and within walking distance to restaurants, shops and attractions in multiple directions. We never needed a rental car or taxi for our entire stay. It is about a 15 minute walk to the Circular Quay ferry terminal. The hotel's aesthetic is great. We appreciated the inclusion of the original pier's construction paired with nice contemporary furnishings. We enjoyed the restaurant's morning breakfast options and service, as well as the evening dining options with outdoor seating. The hotel staff are excellent. Every interaction throughout our stay was pleasurable. Especially high remarks for the hotel's concierge, Eugene, who went above and beyond to help ensure our stay was memorable.

An absolutely fabulous stay in Sydney. The staff were very attentive, the king size bed was like sleeping on a giant cloud, the laundry service was impeccable and the room service was delicious. I don’t think there’s a better location to stay for a conference, right in the heart of it all!! Not to mention, the view from the room was amazing. Walking distance to Bangarra’s rehearsal Studios and walking distance to the Sydney Opera House for the Sydney Dance company show, Engine, it was honestly a fabulous few days . There was nothing I could fault about my stay at Pier one.

We requested a room change with direct access to the pier and great views - management and staff were most helpful and the room was excellent. Our dinner at the restaurant was very good, as was drinks and casual dining at the Pier Bar - the Happy Hour Cocktails, and particularly the Happy Hour Oysters (5-6pm weekdays) at Pier Bar (enjoyed on multiple nights) were delicious and great value.

Hotel is perfectly located to walk to the piers, the rocks, the opera house, catch a train into the city or a ferry to Manly or the zoo. Rooms are very large - you will be comfortable and able to stretch out while you are there. The common space on the ground floor is very nice, although sunset spots on the dock tend to book fast. The room has a mechanical shade you can lower with a light switch which is also helpful if you want to sleep in. For runners (which we were) there is a constant stream of people running past the hotel and a great route to the opera house and Macquarie’s seat. Small gripes: the gym there is minimalist and not really helpful - you also have to walk through the server’s space to get there. The shower is also oddly small - European in its smallness. Parking is crazy expensive and they throw you in a lot across the street behind a chain-link fence.
