"Dark and dingy. The rooms were akin to a premier inn. The staff were not overly friendly on reception so when we arrived we didn’t feel very welcomed. The rooms were incredibly noisy and we had to knock on the walls one night as the family with kids next door were making so much noise at midnight! Breakfast was ok but expensive. I wouldn’t stay here again. "

"During my stay I encountered several cleanliness issues including an un-vacuumed carpet, an uncleaned bathroom, a bug found on my toothbrush, and broken glass in the bathroom. The team were responsive when contacted and did arrange a partial clean the following day which improved the carpet and smell. The broken glass was also eventually removed after being raised a second time. However, at no point was any form of compensation offered or even a genuine acknowledgement of how uncomfortable the experience had been — which for the price point and standard expected, I think would have gone a long way. I'm sure this isn't reflective of every stay, but I left feeling like my concerns were managed rather than genuinely cared about, and wouldn't feel confident returning."

"Room clean but small and tired (in need of refurb.). Was just about OK for a short stay in easy reach of city centre and airport. Bathroom tiny, car park charged as an extra."

"Older hotel but the room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. They do a nice complementary hot breakfast in the mornings (eggs, sausages, ham, mushrooms and fried tomatoes) along with options like cereal and fruit. The walk to the Opera House is just over 1 km."
