"This is during last week of june. I like how they were open about the elevator not working in the main entrance. The back entrance has the elevator and is not a long walk. Place is clean. Some staining in the carpet and some minor ones on the sheets but they smell relatively washed. "Very welcoming and friendly staff. Room was lovely with lots of natural light. Great location, about a 10 min walk to Nyhavn. Easy walk from Christianshavn metro station."

"The stay blew away our expectations. We got a suite instead of a single room. The staff were probably the friendliest people in Copenhagen. The views of the canal out the window, the details paid to everything (the hidden fridge), the great water pressure. It's been years, maybe decades since a hotel impressed me as much as our stay at the Kanalhuset did."

"Great, clean hotel for a couple nights stay for business or travel. No frills, just clean and perfect access to the airport or Metro to downtown. Only downside is the design with no windows. The hotel dies heat up even on a moderate day. We left the terrace door open all night to stay cool and there is a room fan if needed. We will stay again before our flights out. "

"This is in a good location close to the center of Copenhagen. We had a wonderful corner room with wide vistas. There are two NCH's in town, so make sure you go to the one you booked. My only quibble, is the lobby floor restaurant was a little nickel and dimey: they charge for bread and no tap water.
