It's very convenient, the room was clean, the coffee was always stocked, the staff is very nice, we were able to plug in our hybrid vehicle. On the downside, because it is on the main street, there tends to be a fair amount of street noise. Our room was on the ground floor and there were no windows, just a sliding door that opened out onto a little patio on the street side, so if you wanted fresh air, you also got more street noise.

Exceptional clean room, a bit dated but very functional. I have a lot of allergies, absolutely no issues. I would book here again. Walking to the dock is one kilometre away and hilly but beautiful! The staff are all very helpful and friendly!

Overall room was ok but little bit over crowded (small), I guess that was beacuse they tried to fit in a small stove there. Only issue is that you couldn't lock the main door from the outside. I had to go out to lock from the outside, then enter from the patio and lock that afterwards. Location is very convenient, grocery store is only 500 meters away and the shuttle bus for the whale watching cruise is right outside the motel.

LAnse a l'eau is a dated building very close to where travellers line up for the ferry. This, I think might give rooms facing the highway a very unattractive view - I did not see one of these rooms. The room was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Although date this is a very good choice for a several day stay in Tadoussac. No breakfast facility so must walk about 15 minutes to a quite reasonable restaurant. Directly across from the hotel is a bakery offering an excellent variety of sandwiches, etc.

L’Anse a l’eau is somewhat dated but very well- maintained. Rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. It is located very close to where the ferry line-up is located. I suspect the upper rooms backing on the highway may be noisy, although, that said, Tadoussac Main Street is very noisy during the tourist season. No breakfast service so you must walk (15 mins) to a restaurant open for breakfast. There is a Take-out Boulangerie across from the motel which is usually open from 0700 to 1700, (closed Tuesdays) that offers a good selection including coffee, tea and other beverages. (Boulangerie a l’emportée coop).

Plain and simple motel. TV in the room and a Kuerig. Very close to the highway so when a ferry arrives, every hour or so, there is a lot of traffic noise which woke me up. Other than that a good place with multiple restaurants in walking distance.

The staff was really great, but this is a very basic hotel that needs updating. The bed was uncomfortable, the pillows super thin, table tops damaged. I could hear everybody walking in the apartments above. The previous reviews are accurate and that you can hear the trucks zooming down the road, which is right behind the motel. Motorcycles were worse. Even with earplugs I could hear them so I used my white noise app that helped. The floor needs a good cleaning as it felt gritty. Wish I could give more positive review but for the $200 a night it was not a good value. The others guests were nice and property is kind of cute from the outside.

Had a wonderful stay with the family at Motel de l'Anse à l'Eau. We were impressed by how clean everything was—we’ve never seen a bathroom so gleaming at a motel before. Clearly the staff take great pride and care in their hotel. The front desk staff were kind and supportive as well, they spoke with Expedia directly to modify our booking and provide a refund for the last day when we had to depart earlier than expected. The location is great too, walking distance to restaurants, boulangeries, and the waterfront. We would happily return to Motel de l'Anse à l'Eau on our next trip to Tadoussac and recommend it heartily!

The rooms are dated and had carpeting which is not good. However the staff were very friendly and helpful with suggestions of things to visit and restaurants in walking distance. Rooms are facing the street which is noisy. No breakfast available. A little pricey for what you get.

Property was within easy walking distance to local businesses / attractions. Lady at reception was very welcoming. Room was quite small but that didn't bother me. Very noisy though. I don't mind road noise as I was expecting th at but you can hear people next door. Floor was quite squeaky so I felt bad for people below my room. Overall a nice stay but property could use some updating
