"Great place to stay in town. Center of everything and I’m front of the ferries. Stayed there twice during my time in Papeete. Got the cabin bunk for a solo traveler no complaints communal showers outside that separates men and woman. Easy place for easy travelers. "

"Beautiful and unique “hobbit cabins” in far south Tahiti… two warm pools, fish ponds, amazing flowers and foliage, fantastic sunsets, great breakfast. Be aware that the bungalows are open to the elements and there may be a short uphill walk from the parking lot. Nets are provided for the beds and we didn’t have a serious issue with bugs. There are also chickens wandering the grounds, which is fun."

"The hotel appears to be fairly new. The room smelt of fresh paint, clean and a good size. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom and kitchenette area was a good size. The location is approximately 15 minute taxi drive from the airport, which was perfect, especially with an early morning flight. The only disappointment is no onsite restaurant. "We arrived on a later flight and there was a shuttle waiting to take us to the lodge (about a 5 min drive and check in was super eady). Our room was the separate casita on the property and close to a large communal outdoor kitchen that appeared to be fully stocked with coffee and tea for the morning. Staff were very friendly with fresh fruit and lei's on arrival. They offered to take us back to the airport the next morning to pick up our rental car, but we realized how close it was (15-18 min...

"We loved this lodge! It has an incredible view from the balcony. We had the entire upstairs available to us, but only needed one of the two bedrooms, the bathroom & the use of the kettle & refrigerator. We had all we needed & more! The owner is very nice & she took great care of us while we were there. Highly recommend the TeMana Lodge!"
