"Food was good but our room and bathroom were infested with bees. We were not told that drinks at dinner time had to be paid. So it was surprising to see a check after a cup of juice. Something was hitting our walls the entire night so we could barely sleep. But the view and atmosphere were nice."

"Our safari at Lorian was absolutely outstanding and epic! It was small and very personal, with amazing service and food. We were blown away having gourmet dinners and meals cooked personally for us while in the "back country", overlooking a river with hippos, and right in the safari country. Betty was our game driver and was amazing. She was constantly on the phone with other drivers tracking what animals were where. We saw a leopard with a kill up in a tree, a lioness take down a wildebeest,...

"Without a doubt, one of the best camps I have ever stayed at! Mara Major camp made our visit to the Masai Mara as special and unforgettable as it could be.
It’s a unique ecolodge that works closely with the Maasai community, making your stay meaningful and allowing you to directly support the local community. Another highlight is that the guides are Maasai, and their incredible knowledge of the land and animal behavior leads to unforgettable wildlife encounters. The game drives were truly as...

"I've been to Mara a few times, this is truly one of the best places to stay. I believe it's a new camp - excellent location, close to the main gate but also in the nature to make it feel like you're within the park.
The views are breathtaking, one of the best sunsets I've ever seen! Good, cozy vibes as well, the staff is so friendly. You're basically in the middle of the Mara nature.
Also, I highly recommend the nature walk! Get to see so many animals around (we saw giraffes, zebras,...

"Facilities were fantastic, with hot water and flushing toilets. The only negative were the day staff who did not seem very friendly. I put this down to us getting off on the wrong foot, so was glad we were only staying here for two nights.
The guy from our previous day -Safari drive was waiting for us at check out -with the day staff- ( all men ) stating we owed him an extra 10 Dollars, but we showed him the exchange rate and offered him the correct amount of one dollar- which he refused. Thus...
