Very well located, close to old town. Also good connection to airport and central busstation by autobus and tram. Appartement is clean, very functional, comfortable bed, contains everything that's needed. Maybe a bit sterile without any decoration.

The City Yard Inn is a high quality budget hotel. The hotel is quiet and very clean and the staff are friendly, helpful, and professional. The hotel is a short walk to the port terminals if you are arriving or departing by ferry. And that whole waterfront district has been nicely developed with a lot of bars, restaurants, and shops. There are also several malls that are only a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel. Most importantly, the historic Tallin Old Town is only a short walk from the hotel. And lastly, areas along the waterfront near the City Yard Inn are excellent for biking or jogging. The City Yard Inn is a good hotel, in a great location for a good price.

Close to harbour and old city centre (both within 10mins in walk). Easy access to public transport. Clean hotel room with a kitchen that includes fridge+microwave+small stove. This is a clean comfortable Hotel. The reception staff were cordial and very helpful. Although the room was very compact, we appreciated having a kitchenette. Also, access to a washer and dryer was very helpful. It would have been helpful to have written instructions on how to operate them. A definite drawback is the presence of 3-4 steps in 2 places on the way to our room on the first floor making it difficult to navigate with heavy luggage. The location, just outside the old town yet quite close to the ferry terminals was ideal.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. I just thought the location was a bit far from the Old Town for my liking.
