"A delightful step back into the charm of traveling in the past. Like Raffles in Singapore, this hotel will bring you back to the time when travel felt like living abroad. Our room was beautiful, a suite opening up onto the garden next to the waters edge. The room is beyond comfortable and quiet, a beautiful experience. "Wonderful place to stay in Penang. Great food options in the hotel and also nearby. Easy walk around the top of Penang and nice to be just out of the busier centre.

"It was an absolute privilege to stay at Muntri Mews for 3 nights. The room we were appointed was stunning (77D) with a four poster bed (very comfortable) and a lovely large, squishy sofa that was perfect to relax on. We were one skip away jump away from the cafe which served us a delicious breakfast from the menu each morning, which included a glass of fresh orange juice and hot drink of your choice. The scrambled eggs with smoked salmon were perfect.

"Albert and his team did a great job hosting me for 2 nights ! Hotel is efficient but also very laid back . It’s an old mansion and some of the public areas do not have AC . Anywhere you would like to me had AC and was comfortable ! Free non- alcoholic drinks and snacks available . Breakfast prepared to order eggs were great !
