"Excellent overnight stay. Our room was much bigger and quieter than expected after reading some reviews. Main area had a comfy double bed with plenty of space around it, bedside units, long dressing table and large tv. There was a big dressing area with clothes storage and then a good size bathroom. Rain shower was centred in the bath so one could move freely under the powerful spray. We ate in the restaurant and found the meals to be generous, tasty and very good value. Bar prices were also...

"We booked the family room, we were very happy! With two teenagers, it’s sometimes hard to find a room suitable. Our room was huge and both children had their own spaces, worked perfectly for us! Also lovely to have dinner and breakfast next door, food was very good! "

"Enjoyable stay in one of the pub's rooms at the back of the property. Nice big room with settee and two chairs, much better than having to sit on the bed. Tea and coffee, fridge and bottled water are nice extra touches provided for when you get back from a day exploring. Shower good, water hot plus soft towels ( much appreciated!) and very quiet location in a small village with a handy village store in walking distance. Great overall stay."

"Loved staying here. The guy who showed me round couldn't have been any kinder or more interested in telling me about the room. A full guided tour. The room I stayed in was a really great size, bathroom was great and the bed was comfy. The location was fantastic also. Only 2 points I'd like A hairdryer in the room A better fan (but to be fair there was a fan and at the moment it's like 100 degrees) These are the only 2 things I'd change but it doesn't impact my review because of the great...

"Super stay - high quality furnished room, and quiet late on, despite the vibrant atmosphere at the adjoining pub. Only thing I could perhaps find fault with would be the high tog rating for the duvet (which made for a rather warm night !)"

"Nice, clean with a nice local pub right across the courtyard. Very handy. However the pub is only open limited hours and no where else to eat within walking distance except a fish n chips joint. We stayed in apartment 3. Suited our family of 4 well, but note there is no mini fridge or micro that a family might hope for. Walls are thin too but not a big deal. "

"I particularly liked that the stafff and customers of the Bridgehouse welcomed me. The place had the social feeling of what I think a good pub should be. The room was spacious, comfortable and quiet too."
