My stay at Country Inn & Suites by Radisson in Metairie, New Orleans, was a very pleasant experience overall!
The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient access to shopping, restaurants, and many of the wonderful attractions New Orleans has to offer.
What truly deserves recognition is the outstanding housekeeping and maintenance team. Their dedication, professionalism, and attention to detail were exceptional. They genuinely contributed to making our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
The breakfast was another highlight! The food was delicious, with a great selection to start each morning. I especially want to recognize the wonderful Latina lady who attended the breakfast area. She was absolutely amazing! Her kindness, positive attitude, warm personality, and exceptional service made every morning even more enjoyable. She is truly an asset to this hotel!
One area where I believe the hotel could continue improving is front desk communication and guest relations. Since New Orleans welcomes visitors from around the world, patience, empathy, and understanding are essential, especially when assisting guests who may not speak fluent English.
I also experienced a minor inconvenience when a requested credit card authorization form was not emailed as promised, requiring me to return to the hotel to assist with my coworkers' check-in.
