"Beautiful, rustique hacienda in the middle of amazing mountain landscapes. Everything is stone and wood. Very athmospheric. Everything was comfortable and clean, and the food was good. Staff was helpful. Only problem for us was the height sickness, but you can't blame Hacienda Los Mortinos for that. Also, it gets cold at night. The fireplace in our room kept us warm in the evening, but it was chilly in the morning. If you're a nature person you won't mind too much."

"This is a beautiful property close to the north entrance of Cotopaxi national park. The grounds are very nice and the beds comfortable. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. The food at the restaurant was excellent and rated the best in the area. "

"Right inside Cotopaxi National Park…. The heat in your room is wood burning stove. They will get the fire going for you. I think the electricity goes off at 10:00 pm. Volcano warning siren just outside compound. The restaurant is awesome. They have coca tea to help with altitude."

"Warm welcome from staff. Comfy beds, warm showers, hot tub, sauna and steam room were amazing. The family dinners are nice. The views are incredible. It is a perfect place to stay after a long day of hiking. They have a yoga studio and run classes twice daily. I loved the stay and wished I could have stayed longer. "

"Wir hatten eine Nacht gebucht und sind drei Nächte geblieben. Mit Kindern ist es großartig zwischen den ganzen Tieren, mit tollem Ausblick und großartigem Essen., insbesondere wenn man Fleisch mag. Toller Ausgangsort für Ausflüge rund um den Cotopaxi oder einfach einen Ausritt um die Hacienda. Und Sebastian ist ein toller Gastgeber, der sich um alles kümmert und tolle Tipps gibt."
