"We were really disappointed with our stay at UNA Capotaormina. While the hotel has an undeniably beautiful location and the views over the sea are stunning, almost everything else fell short of expectations. The rooms are extremely outdated and did not feel worth the premium price. The bathrooms, in particular, felt old and were not as clean as they should have been. For the rates this hotel charges, we expected a much higher standard of comfort and maintenance. One especially frustrating...

"The hotel staff is very helpful, and the breakfast was good. While the rooms are clean, the air conditioning in some rooms worked less well than others (our family had two rooms), and there were problems with the plumbing. The shower in our room did not work well at all and water pressure was very low. The locks were hard to open on the doors and often required some struggle. The location was good near a public pebbly beach (and several lidos) and the Intercity Etna bus line to Taormina."
