"No elevator so anyone who has difficulty with stairs needs to request a main floor room. Building is adjacent to a delightful stream. Patio tables and chairs are available at ground level next to the stream and on the rear main floor patio. Front desk rep was very friendly and helpful. The room was rather dated and needs much better lighting. Bathroom fan and heating units were noisy. Good quality and size of towels. Keurig coffee maker is appreciated. Bed was comfy with good pillow selection and bedding. Breakfast is a treat. Every day they serve eggs cooked to order (fried/scrambled), freshly made waffles and bacon, with a few other add ons available (no potatoes). How VERY nice it was to have a real egg instead of the usual hotel powdered/scrambled eggs! There is a hot tub inside a closed gazebo. Facility is a 1/2 block walk to a brewery or an italian restaurant. Chair lift is adjacent to the hotel for summer tourists or winter downhill activities."

"Outstanding property in Taos, New Mexico. Super comfortable beds and bedding, and the New Mexico style was outstanding. The staff made homemade breakfast. Everything was perfect."

"We had an amazing stay at Desert Flower Hotel! We stayed in Room 7, which included a private hot tub that was perfect for soaking in and relaxing after our adventurous days exploring Taos. One of the highlights of our stay was the homemade breakfast each morning. Everything was delicious, especially the homemade blueberry muffins. It was such a treat to wake up and enjoy a freshly prepared meal before heading out to explore for the day. Jody and Xochitl were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We also loved the unique touches throughout the property, including the custom playlist created specifically for each room. It was clear that so much thought and care went into every aspect of the guest experience. Every detail was perfect, and our stay exceeded expectations. We highly recommend Desert Flower Hotel and can’t wait to return!"

"Let me start off by saying the owners were great. They are in the process of remodeling other than being able to tell the difference between old and new you would never have known it. It was quiet. They did not have any building materials laying around or trash. When we pulled up they both greeted us and let us know that they were there and available if we needed anything. Upon entering the room that they had us down for I realized it was not the room that Expedia showed on their website. When we showed the owners the picture they said they had had that happen before that Expedia has the wrong picture with the wrong listing if you book through Expedia verify with the owners what room you are getting. They gave us the room that we thought we were getting luckily no one had booked it so everything turned out great We were traveling with a young grandson and booked the family suite we thought with two bedrooms and a Jack and Jill bathroom however that’s not what we had when we got there. I highly recommend the family Suite No. 12 it has been remodeled. It’s beautiful spacious and has everything you need for a short or long period of stay. It sits just a little way out of town, which we liked.. maybe a minute away. We enjoyed our stay very much but won’t book thru Expedia again. Oh yes, and Expedia had the wrong checkout time than what the owner had on their description in Expedia we had to verify which was correct and Expedia was wrong. 😡"
