The vegetation and rustic design of the hotel makes it beautiful and enjoyable. It's like being inside the rain forrest, but staying at the city. The location is also very convenient, with the main square very close, and also with good restaurants around.

Terrible no contar con agua potable en el baño
Todo iba bien hasta que nos percatamos de que no habia agua potable en el baño de la habitacion. Llamamos a recepcion para quejarnos, pero nunca lo solucionaron. Es terrible no poder bañarse con tanto calor, tuvimos que utilizar agua de mesa para el aseo personal. Felizmente solo estyvimos 1 noche.

If you want to listen music all night, this is the perfect place . (noisy). The tvs doesnt work properly. The pool sometimes looks like a lake...because is so dirty. they promised a free ride to the airport but when i requested it they said me that they could not do it for me because was too early. Be careful if you want to use the pool...the tables coul be "reserved"' etc.

The property was amazing and the service was excellent. My only one complaint inside the hotel was the fact that there was no electrical outlet in the bathroom and the light in the bathroom was very dim. The hotel is located in a very noisy zone and there was music blasting until 5am. We had a few sleepless nights unfortunately.

Me gusto mucho, la limpieza. El personal del Hotel es súper simpático. El hotel es muy rústico y acogedor. Es como estas na pequeña selva muy cerca de la Plaza principal de la ciudad. Excelente muy recomendable!

Todo muy bien en general. Nomás un par de cosas: el interruptor de una de las lámparas de mesa, la de la izquierda, no funciona (switch atracado -hab 24). Y otra cosa, más de fondo. Estuve en La Patarashca antes de la transformación, o sea en 2014 y 2015. Todo bien con que se haya vuelto una empresa, pero algo del encanto sencillo de antes se puede estar perdiendo. En lo personal, a mi novia y a mí nos gusta más la sencillez. Al hacer el checkin preguntamos en recepción qué podríamos hacer con el checkout, pues yo doy clases por Zoom en un instituto en Lima y mis clases acaban a la 1pm. Una de las chicas me dijo que tenía que salir de la habitación sí o sí a las 12 (ó 12:30) y que podía estar una hora en la sala de reuniones o más si pagaba 35 soles por la hora extra. Entiendo los horarios... pero todo esto me sonó a "empresa", "reglas fijas"... cosa que no pasaba antes. Inmediatamente otra de las chicas de la recepción se adelantó y nos dijo que podíamos usar internet en cualquiera de los ambientes disponibles, pasada la hora del checkout. Esto sonó mucho mejor. Son detalles menores, pero vale la pena que le comuniquen al equipo que el trato con los clientes es idealmente personal y no "corporativo" (horarios estrictos, no flexibilidad, etc). Si como cliente uno se siente como un vecino o un familiar, entonces todo es más chévere. En fin, aparte de estos detalles, todo bien :)

Buen hotel, falta mejorar algunos detalles.
El hotel y restaurante muy bonito, buena comida, buen desayuno, buen ambiente . Sabado en la noche, junto a la piscina habia musica en vivo, muy simpatico. Buena la ubicacion del hotel, cerca a la plaza, buen ambiente nocturno. Lo malo en habitacion, almohadas muy duras, la repisa de madera para poner la ropa manchada de pintura, el aire acondicionado no enfriaba mucho, el papel higienico debe ser mejorado en calidad.

El hospedaje era lindo, y cuando lleganos estaban haciendo trabajos de mantenimiento, lo cual indica que constantemente se preocupan por tener un buen espacio. El unico problema es la piscina porque hay mesas del restaurante que estan alrededor de esta. No hay poltronas ni tumbonas, entonces si quieres meterte a la piscina tienes que sentarte o dejar tus cosas en una mesa de comida, y si es hora del almuerzo o cena es terrible porque tienes a todos estos comensales que NO son del hotel (sino del restaurante) mirandote y tu no tienes donde poner tu toalla.

el 24/02 regresábamos de un viaje familiar, y todo fue cayendo, como quien dicen, "a pelo"; las comunicaciones previas, la recepción en el aeropuerto en Tarapoto, la habitación, el desayuno, la sesión de fotos con las florecilla... en fin, todo iba bien!!!; al día siguiente, luego del desayuno, nos estábamos alistando para seguir con nuestro viaje rumbo a nuestro destino final; sin embargo, mi hija tuvo un ataque de fiebre alta (debido al repentino cambio de clima), que nos obligó a llevarla de emergencia al hospital, pude constatar de cerca el interés por la mejoría de mi hija, de parte del personal, guardaron nuestras cosas en un cuartito especial para ello, para hasta cuando regresemos. Generalmente, suelo ser muy exigente y serio con el servicio en hoteles, pero, hubo algo que me "derritió" por dentro; y es que al volver del hospital, la preocupación por la mejoría de mi hija seguía intacta, el hecho de que la srta. María, personal de recepción, pregunte ¿cómo sigue su hijita?, me dejó absorto; pero, no sólo fue eso, sino que nos proporcionaron de un espacio para que mi hija y esposa se alisten para seguir con nuestro viaje. Este tipo de acciones, que van más allá de los formalismos, reflejan el alto nivel de compromiso y responsabilidad por brindar una buena, excelente y cálida "atención al cliente" y ello merece reconocerse (aunque los caracteres no me den más espacio). Mi hija me ha pedido volver al hotel, de hecho que lo haremos!!! GRACIAS POR TODO!!!

I have been visiting several times a year for almost five years. Love everything about this hotel. Except in the last year, the nearby bars have been allowed to play unlimited volume until 5:00 am. It's now almost impossible to get a good night's sleep. A shame.

Checking in was a bit rough, as they would not let me in early but when I came back said that they had mistakenly put someone else in my room. I had to wait until 4:30 for them to clean up an alternate, and then move rooms the next day. They were nice enough to comp me the A/C, and didn’t charge for my laundry. The managers know some English, but desk staff doesn’t, so a little patience or some Spanish is helpful. Great courtyard with direct access to two decent restaurants where one can try Amazonian fare. Club noise (base beats) were quite audible in the room and lasted all night (Fri/Sat). Very close to the city center. Overall a good experience for what I was expecting.
