"The view of the ocean was the only good thing about my room. The air conditioner didn't cool, no coffe pot,refrigerator didn't work,broke ice machine,stayed on 9th floor one elevator broke also could have had a microwave per request found out last night there. The only good thing about stay was staff Kat and Ernest. If I could have stayed in the lobby would have been amazing very disappointing paying well over 300 a night. I will never go back to the Tides again."

"Check in was supposed to be 3 pm. Waited until 330 pm since no rooms were available. Room was clean but musty from moldy bathroom grout. Outside ( stairs specifically stairs) rusty and un maintained."

"I enjoyed my stay. I didn’t like that the key card’s deactivated themselves four different times. The staff was friendly, but the front desk lost paperwork that I had already signed. Room was clean and loved the shower. Overall 4/5."

"Water’s Edge was close enough we could easily walk to all the places we wanted to go. The staff was terrific, very helpful, courteous and friendly- that southern hospitality in action. (Special shoutouts to Scarlet and Bri!)"

"Booked non smoking, checked in at 4pm and they only had smoking rooms left. Actual ashes on the beds, indicating they hadn't been changed over since the last guests. Dirty hair everywhere. Smelly damp everythin.g."

"Clean, convenient, staff friendly, comfortable. Public areas dark and outdated. Nothing lights and paint/carpet couldn’t fix. Room very nice, comfortable, quiet. TV outdated. No streaming, remote so worn couldn’t tell function on buttons. Overall, lower end 3 star at upper end 3 star price. "

"The hotel was old and dated. Rusty refrigerator, had to ask for a blow dryer, no coffee maker in room, dirty grout in bathroom. "

"This resort is exquisite. It is located directly on the beach but also seems like it is in a jungle or Forest. The property is extremely well maintained and the staff was exceptional. We were given a room that we weren't exactly pleased with and they were able to accommodate our needs and provide us with a different room. We loved being able to walk around the property with our small child. I would come back anytime."
