"We stayed one night in the King Suite while in town for a show at The Refinery. The room was spotless, spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The walls seemed well insulated because we never heard neighbors or outside noise. "We enjoyed our time at the Tides. The proximity to the beach and the many eating places close by, you hardly had to leave Folly. It is also close to downtown Charleston ( about 25 minutes). Highly recommend and we will be back!"

"I am really trying to look for a positive, but I also want to be honest. The hotel is not clean or maintained but worse than that...the staff does not care. I can understand that you might be short staffed when it comes to housekeepers but there is no excuse that there are no wash clothes or hand towels at 11:00 am, especially when there are two capable front desk workers doing basically nothing...well they were chatting with another worker on end. Lots of no work happening! Could not quietly...

"There were definitely some things that needed to be fixed. The walls had obvious patches. The tub- you could only use the shower as the water wouldn’t come out of the faucet and the plug didn’t work well. There appeared to be some old toothpaste on the wall near the sink. The little headrest on the couch was partially broken. We had to ask for a coffee pot as there wasn’t one in the room not sure if it was removed for cleaning as the other coffee goodies were in there. Breakfast was...

"We had rented 2 rooms. The first room everything seemed to work okay. But the 2nd room the refrigerator did not work at all. They had a small one in the room that worked okay. It also had an indoor pool that was not available for use at all. Not sure why the pool was not available. My great grandchildren were a little disappointed with no pool. We were not at the hotel except mainly for sleeping, we had many activities planned for the few days we were in Charleston. The air conditioning...
