Khách sạn Tasman River

"Worst place we’ve ever stayed in New Zealand. It’s a cheap accommodation overall. In room 303, the heater didn’t work, the oven was broken, and the view was literally nothing. They provided cheap instant coffee, cheap utensils, a cheap mattress, and cheap pillows. The place is also isolated, with nothing around. I would not recommend it. We let Eddy, the manager, know about all the issues. The only “compensation” offered was a ticket to the theatre — a boring, cheap 30-minute video that they...

"Great views from our room and also from communal kitchen area and the patio is great. Rooms are nice and well equipped. Parking is limited in front and first in first serve so may have to park in designated areas not to further away. Very much enjoyed our 1 night stay."

"Impressive that a hot breakfast was delivered to the room on a very cold morning."

"Nice place to stay, close to the lake with awesome views, easy walk to shops."

"Room only but in decent condition and shared amenities were decent. Good location."

"Enjoyed our stay at the Godley. Beautiful view of the lake."

"nice place"

"This property is fabulous, apartment is fantastic with everything you need and a few little extra touches. The view of Lake Tekapo is impressive you can sit on the balcony or in the lounge room and look straight out to the lake and snow capped mountains, room is very spacious, clean and comfortable and staff are lovely, would highly recommend staying here."

"This is a hostel even though Expedia doesn’t call it a hostel. If you re getting a private room you are subsidizing the people sleeping in bunk rooms and you are overpaying. Our room was listed as a king bed but it was not. There was no drawers or places to put your clothes or your suitcase. Our room was insanely overpriced for what was effectively a 10’x 10’ room with no place to put anything."

"AmaIng clean and beautiful"

"Overall, we had a good stay. Couldn’t ask for a better location, we ate in the hotels restaurant and had a great meal. The room was clean and had nice amenities. However, it wasn’t an overly comfortable stay due to the bed. The mattress was an old spring mattress and it was had and uncomfortable. I woke up at 5:30am and moved to the couch."

"Incredible place on the stunning Lake Pukaki with views directly across the lake to Aoraki/Mt Cook. Sunrise and sunset just stunning. We licked out with the weather. The night sky experience was fantastic. Expensive, meals included, and worth every cent."

"After a long journey, arrived to a room that had not been cleaned from last guests. Called owner to complain and he offered us the room next door which was prepared fro new guests. We accepted but felt the room wasn’t as clean as it should be. We asked for a discount but was refused. I felt it was overpriced. "
