Wonderful host, delicious breakfast, spotless home. They upgraded us to a balcony room which was gorgeous. It’s set up high on the mountain a little challenging to get to if not use to driving in Italy.

A pleasant hotel in a lovely part of the world

Lake Como is amazing and this is a pleasant place to kick off a beautiful trip. This was the only part of the trip where we had a car because we wanted to tour around the area, so convenient parking was a nice feature. The room was comfortable (a bit small, as all hotel rooms in Italy seem to be unless you are willing to spend several hundred dollars a night).

Loved our stay at Villa Cuervo! The garden and small pool were perfect for relaxing, and the breakfast was tasty and affordable.Parking for free. Only small downside: our room was in the basement. Still, a great spot for a peaceful getaway!

It's a wonderful place and very clean. Owners are very very friendly I enjoyed my time there During the day u can sit and enjoy your time with a pool In the night when I get back from Como, u can enjoy your time. I sit down and enjoy eating my pizza 🍕 with vino I'm planning to come back 100% It's not far from Como 15 minutes by bus and I used it TV u can watch Netflix because I have an acount Any way text them they will help you because they did to me. First time in Tavernerio

The property is located in a private neighborhood of very, very narrow streets and entry was at a difficult angle. We wound up having basement rooms that we could hear everything going on in the rooms above us until very late hours, well past quiet time at 10 PM. No restaurants within 10 minutes walking distance, more like 2025. The refrigerator was not plugged in, so the dessert we had brought with us got ruined. The lights would go out, and then come on minutes later. There were no directions to operate the television set or on how to operate the air conditioning. Jonathan, the host was very nice, however, the above items should be corrected. The grounds were wonderful as where the pool, but parking is a bit difficult.

Good value with some room for improvement

Pros - Very clean with decent water pressure and water temperature - Convenient parking - Friendly staff - A sense of being in a proper house / great atmosphere - Very reasonable price - Air conditioning worked - Generous supply of shampoo and shower caps - Fridge worked - Lighting worked - Decent bed quality - Free bottles of water Suggestions - It would be better to inform the guest in advance that communication can be done easily by WhatsApp. Hotel.com messaging did not work timely. - Very small touch would make a lot of difference. 1) indicating that there is a possibility to stay on the 'first floor' which is actually underground (which needs more ventilation); 2) racks for towels and a toilet paper holder/dispenser; 3) a dish to put soap; 4) indicating before checkin that two paper cups instead of mug cups (or glass or other multi-usage cups) are provided everyday (a different aspect from what are shown in the pictures.. a lot of tea and coffee were provided. Only two paper cups were avilable on the other hand) ; 5) indicating when the staff stays in the reception; 6) allowing some common areas indoors.. at least allowing access to the table for the breakfast buffet or letting the guests know which tables outdoors can be used; and 7) clearly indicating how to check out. *Some complain about the narrow roads to access the property, but based on my experience driving a big car, the roads of the village was better than those in many other neighboring regions.

Very pretty, but quite out-of-the-way – to get anywhere is a €30-€50 ride. Check-in is not until 4 PM, but somehow check out is at 10 AM on the Dot The staff was very helpful, and extremely kind – room was very clean. However, cannot be considered luxury by any definition.

Clean and comfortable B&B with friendly staff, a pool and lots of character (super cool 5-pound “guard dog” and roaming chickens were very entertaining and relaxing every morning and at the end of the day. Our only issue was that we visited during a heatwave and the AC in our room never brought the temp below 23C, which was still a bit warm at nighttime.

The villa itself is beautiful with a big garden and a lovely pool. Service was very good and kind. Room was fine and clean but the bed was very bad im afraid. Maddress was hard to sleep on and the bed made loud noices just from sitting on it. AC would not go below 20c.

Poor attitude to the Management of the B&B.

Gate buzzer was answered on arrival. Basic information given. First problem was the TV did not work, this was fixed. Second the plug on the kettle would not go into the socket. The management was called and he came down and with great force managed to plug the kettle in. We left it plugged in for our 3 day stay. The plug on the fridge did not fit the socket as it was not a compatible socket. The remote would not work to turn the TV off the first night. We called the hotel number on the card with no reply. We called the emergency number and also no reply. We used the bed cover on the single bed to cover the TV so that we could sleep. No towel rails in bathroom to hang up towels. They were just draped over the shower door frame by the cleaning staff. Not answering the Emergency Phone number is inexcusable. I can not recommend this hotel.

La déception de notre séjour en Italie

Hôtel 3 étoiles un peu excentré, pratique si l’on est véhiculé car assez proche de Côme. Le propriétaire est vraiment super sympa, très accueillant et disponible, mais notre expérience reste une grosse déception au regard de la note affichée. La chambre dégage une atmosphère étrange, difficile à décrire, avec une insonorisation inexistante (on entend absolument tout des voisins). Nous étions logés en sous-sol, avec une minuscule fenêtre à barreaux donnant une impression assez oppressante, presque carcérale. Le ménage est bien fait, mais plusieurs points pratiques sont très décevants : pommeau de douche défectueux (l’eau sort par les côtés et la pression trop forte rend la douche désagréable), savon d’un aspect douteux, et télévision connectée nécessitant une reconnexion internet à chaque utilisation. Pour couronner le tout, un réveil dans une chambre voisine s’est mis à sonner à 22h30 sans que personne ne l’éteigne, et cela a duré près de 20 minutes – insupportable. À noter toutefois que l’extérieur avec piscine est plutôt agréable et bien entretenu, ce qui sauve un peu l’ensemble. En résumé, cet hôtel restera la déception de notre périple en Italie. Malgré la gentillesse du propriétaire, nous ne le recommandons pas.
