"This hotel is conveniently located near Friedrichstraße Station, so is close to transport links, shops and restaurants, but down a side street so with little passing traffic. There is a good German restaurant right next door. The interior of the hotel is nicely decorated and seemed well maintained.
There is a small pool in the basement, it seemed clean but a little unloved. If you want a bathrobe it's a extra €5, which seemed a bit cheeky given that it's not a cheap hotel.
Our room was a decent size, with a TV, fridge, and kettle. The beds/pillows were comfortable. When we needed reception they were helpful and friendly.
We didn't book breakfast at the hotel as it seemed very expensive (€25), but there are several cafes nearby. We ate at the Checkpoint restaurant once, the staff were nice but there was a long delay when one of our main courses was brought out but the other one wasn't for well over 30 minutes.
It's about a 15-20 minute walk to most of the sights of central Berlin. We had a nice stay but weren't there a lot."
