"We booked this property to attend 2026 Laconia Bike Week. We were so disappointed with our room that we checked out early. Neither the front door to our room nor the windows closed completely; gaps allowed light, heat, and noise into the room. We found old, half-empty beer cans in our room upon arrival. "The hotel has a new owner who is making improvements. The noise is almost unnoticeable at present. Seldom staff at the desk but sufficient at this tme. Part of parking is acoss the street but in about a dozen times crossing I never had to wait for vehicles. Quiet evening and night and a good breakfast."

"Mattresses in the room we stayed in hurt my back. When you first lay down, they feel great! As my weight compressed the mattress through the night, I could feel the metal platform base in my back. A box spring or a firm flat surface between the mattress and the frame would improve it. The mattress seemed good, just not meant for a metal frame with nothing between the frame and the mattress. Thanks!"
