"Ran out of Smoked salmon on our second day breakfast as nice with scrambled eggs. Bar prices a bit high but as expected for 5 star rating. Lovely comfortable room upgraded to sea view which was nice. Problem trying to turn down the room thermostat, fortunately we could open the window. Hotel beautifully decorated for Christmas with trees everywhere! Very cosy hotel "

" There is a chef to cook breakfasts from a surprisingly varied menu or to order. The food and staff are excellent. Location is extremely convenient with St Andrew University graduation ceremonies literally across the street. Grocery, pharmacy, excellent dining options, great pubs all within a three minute walk. Free parking on street, but these are likely to fill up during the working day very quickly. Spaces generally open up after 5pm. Will stay here the next time I'm in town."
