"We arrived at Hahei in the middle of a horrendous storm. Checkin was straight forward as was finding our garden view appartment. The accomodation was all a little dated, but none the less was well equiped, had everything you need, was clean and comfortable. We ate and drank at the Deck (on site food place/bar) for the 2 evenings we were there. The pizzas (gluten free bases available) and fish n chips we ate were great. "Everything about this hotel is a gold star, despite the bathrooms being slightly outdated and the road to get there semi isolated for food options. This is a great place for a night or even a week! The staff were friendly, and so were the ducks and eels! We were fortunate to see the lunar eclipse right from their hand built trail, and only wish we could have stayed longer. "
