"This is probably an older property that has been completely refurbished. The young lady at teception was very couteous and helpful. The reception area, breakfast area, the room and all exterior area were spotless. Kudos to the reception staff and especially the housekeeping staff for a splendid job. Your dedication did not go unnoticed. Thanks also to the morning breakfast staff who did a superb job of providing a delicious meal in a very clean breakfast area."

"The room was small but clean and comfortable. It’s an older hotel and opens to the outside. The parking lot it really tight so don’t park in the back area! Very close to downtown and makes it very walkable. The breakfast is pretty lame though. It’s a good choice. "

"We decided to stay at this historic property vs normally staying outside of Asheville and it did not disappoint! The location is central to all that downtown Asheville has to offer within a few short steps. The property was beautiful and we appreciated the charming touches from the old department store.
