"Honestly, this place was a letdown. The moment we walked into our first room on the 2nd floor, there was a spider just sitting on the wall like it owned the place. Not exactly the welcome you expect. The next morning made it worse—the shower water was ice cold and stayed that way. No hot water at all. We had to switch rooms because of it. So they move us to the 10th floor, and somehow it gets worse. The light switch in the room didn’t even work. Like… how is that even acceptable? And to top it...

"The Hitel was cute. It was in a super convenient area. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was a good size. There room was updated, but the bathroom needed some fixing, even though I think it was updated also. Parking was very good. All in all it was a very pleasant place to stay for four days."

"Omg…. This place was old school Hollywood at its finest! Fantastic location on a quiet residential street just off Melrose. The cottages are adorable and well appointed. The staff is friendly and attentive, but note they front desk closes at 5pm, so arrangements need to be made if you arrive later (which they totally accommodate)! It’s like a Bed and Breakfast but without the breakfast. Would absolutely stay here again!"

"Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. My flight was delayed so I checked in late, and nobody came to the front desk for 20 minutes. I finally fell asleep at 6am (this hotel is EXTREMELY loud and impossible to rest in) and the front desk CALLS MY ROOM at 8am asking me if I want a car???? What?? I finally fall back asleep and 1 hour later a staff member rang the doorbell to my room because he wanted to “see if it was occupied”. Unacceptable. "Great location, safe and walkable. Clean and attractive property. Our bathroom had a broken light and the fixtures were a bit old. We chose it because of availability of free parking, but unfortunately the spots were all full. The surrounding area has signs posted that permits are required but we street parked anyway and were not ticketed. Staff were friendly and responsive."

"Stayed one night and we quite enjoyed it. The bed was very comfortable. The room was a fair size in the bathroom was quite large shower was amazing and wonderful water pressure. The breakfast buffet was hot and fresh and had a decent selection underground parking was also available for $35 a night US, but it was very well lit and clean our room overlooked the pool, which was very pretty and lit up at night time as well. "This property is very dated and trying to fit in. There are mirrors EVERYWHERE!! With lots of fingerprints The carpets were pretty dirty… the restaurant was understaffed… the food was pretty good tho. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and the beds and linens we very comfortable! Location for us and all the activities we were doing was perfect! "
