"Everything was amazing.!!"

"Bar closes at 11pm. Refused me service from 10.40pm but continued serving others. And no, I was not intoxicated. I had been told the bar was closing evidently. The latecomers had not. They were still there when I returned from the local pub. You are supposed to aspire to something adult, young lady (bar manager) and being a Karen is not being adult."

"Room was clean on arrival but the service clean the next day was lacking. Left dirty towels behind our door and new hand towel left had yellow stains all on it. Didn’t clean kitchen.. minor things. I stay here whenever I’m in Brisbane for the convenience, easy parking and nice rooms."

"We had a great stay right in the heart of Brisbane. The room was clean and modern and while a little small it was perfect for us. Staff were really lovely and helpful and the breakfast was amazing! The meals at the restaurant are simple but tasted great. There is no pool, however the southbank pools are just across the river. All in all a good place to stay for a short trip to Brisbane."

Location allowed us to travel to the city center for shopping and to Southbank on foot. The architecture has great character. We liked that the room's design and furniture selection retained most of the building's old world charm. We booked it because it gave us a flexible layout that was useful for a family of three (nice for everyone to have their own bedroom!), and because it was conveniently located near a train station - we did not have a car to park.
