"Very comfortable room. Staff were helpful. We would have liked more help from the restaurant when it came to my wife's need for gluten free food. We tried to have dinner there one night and were offered only one choice which would have been a very basic meal. For breakfast my wife was informed by the staff that "all bread is gluten free", it's not! I would have thought that being part of the Shangri-La group, your staff and kitchen could do better here. "Room, bed & pillows were comfortable. I liked having the safe and the mini refrigerator. Also liked having the kettle, tea and coffee. Housekeeping is excellent. "The room was fine, and the staff were very friendly. I was a bit surprised when I first arrived, somehow expecting a bigger hotel, but it worked out okay. I stayed six nights. The location was good, not too far from Komtar and 1st Avenue mall, but you really need to be steady on your feet to manage the footpaths, or lack thereof, to get there.
