"I was a bit hesitant to book as I saw a few comments speak on the hotel being noisy or the interior was very old. However, it was a good stay. The staff was nice, the place was well maintained, the breakfast was pretty good and there weren't any issues with noise. The atmosphere was calm and quiet, and the interior was good. I would go back"

"Room appeared recently painted. Room and bath were cleaned and well stocked. Bed was comfortable. TV was a bit small for my old eyes, but a wide assortment of channels were available for viewing. The room had a working microwave and small refrigerator. The heating/air conditioning system was controlled by a turn dial marked from heat to cold, which took me quite a while to get the room temperature to my comfort zone. "This place was a real gem! Upon checking in I had 4 different people (some who may not have even worked there) helping us get our room key. Once in our room, we were delighted to find clean sheets, extra lights in the bathroom, and NO cameras. We were just a day too early for the grand pool reopening, so maybe next time we're in town we'll come for a swim! I think some people like this motel so much that they've extended their stays for quite awhile. Checkout was a breeze, with a big group...

"The shuffle board and pool table were a nice surprise. I think regular brewed coffee/tea should be complimentary in the morning. It wasn't overly expensive but would be a nice touch."

"Beds were hard as hell. May as well been sleeping on a piece of plywood. Girlfriend and I both had back pain in the morning when we got up. Could barely sleep because of the beds. The TV remote and hair dryer were both sticky. God only knows what was on them. The room was dusty around fridge and could use a good dusting and cleaning in a few spots. Definitely won't be returning."
