"All the rooms are different but all are good-sized. Our room has double bathroom sinks, a large shower, a chaise lounge in addition to two armchairs. Very comfy. The breakfasts are excellent! Their so-called mini-continental is big enough to fill up most people: fresh baked muffin, croissant, fresh fruit, cheeses& meats, yogurt, juice, coffee. "From the beginning we were greeted with smiles and courtesy. What a lovely little guesthouse. Lovely rooms and seating areas/balcony. Great breakfast too. Very clean and felt very safe there. Our hosts Marius and Nicola were superb. Our only disappointment was that we were only staying for 1 night!! "

"Lovely property. Central location very walkable for the town. Parking on property. Good water, pressure in the showers and very comfortable beds. A small bottle of champagne to enjoy! The best breakfast of all the bed-and-breakfast we stayed at. We had eggs Florentine. We definitely stay here again."

"What A Wonderful World. We were made so amazingly welcome at the Van der Stel Manor in Stellenbosch! Large, comfortable room, bed with electric blanket for the cool, early spring evenings .. and chocolates too. Great shower. Outstanding breakfast, in a beautiful room in the historic house. We really enjoyed our stay: thank you so much to all the wonderful staff. Will definitely stay here again if we are lucky enough to come back to Stellenbosch. Highly recommended to others."
