"This place was absolutely beaten up. Grounds were not maintained, walls, rooms, hallways etc stained dirty broken and just really bad shape for the price. Things that were offered were not available and if there is any event scheduled, guests are pushed out of those areas over 4 hours before an event when eating lunch in a common area (even though charged an amenities fee on top of the stay by the ownership). Extremely confusing to get on the property and everything listed as “on property” was not accurate as there is an adjoining “higher end” facility which other guests thought was where they were staying as well. First and last time ever. Would have been a memorable 25th anniversary but now it is for all of the wrong reasons. Suggest bite the $$ bullet and stay in Charleston."

"Brilliant hotel. We had the 2 bed room which was like an air BnB in a hotel. Huge space for our family, kitchen, oven everything you need…. With the benefit of being in a great hotel. Fresh breakfast baked goods delivered every day and within great proximity to the best parts of Charleston We’ll definitely be back "
