"Great views. Very nice breakfast."

"This is a great little place to stay and not have to travel to see the northern lights. I stayed in one of the bungalows (the called it the chicken houses). Stay was comfortable, it is a small space so a bit crowded and the ceilings were short and sloped in so it made taking a shower a little challenging but still doable. The only turnoff for me was the sink was leaking from the drain pipe as well as one of the water lines going into the sink and the staff's response was to bring me towels....

"Overall clean and exactly as expected. The pod was cold even with the heater on and there was extreme wind on the night we stayed that was extremely loud. The communal space is nice, but the washrooms were under stocked in terms of paper towel and toilet paper."

"Inside the property is very nice. It is great that they have a hot tub for relaxing at the end of the day. The room was very nice. The outside of the building is a little bit misleading because it looks like I could use an updating, but once you go in, it is perfect."

"The advertising was misleading as we spent extra so we could have a hot tub, it was cold and dirty. There is no one on site so I emailed to see if they could fix it but no one replied. The rooms were fine and clean and the location was remote and pretty. Breakfast was ok, but only a couple hot items that were almost cold."

"Great Hotel right in the Skogafoss front yard. Get up early and you can have the falls to yourself. Excellent breakfast buffet. Clean room. Expensive restaurant (Iceland, middle of nowhere pricing). Tip: check in before going to the falls, and you won't have to pay the parking fee (get validated), since they share the same lot. Staff are nice and hardworking."

"What an interesting stay. We loved it. We stayed in the haytower. The place was so cool. They created a wonderful lodging out of an old building that in the late 30’s housed farm animals and upstairs kept hay for the livestock. It now has all the conveniences of home with kitchen,washer dryer, dishwasher,fridge,microwave, large tv. Upstairs has 2 twins with views of a waterfall as well as the coastline on the opposite side. Roomy shower. Fun stay. We could have stayed a week or more. Did not get...

"The kitchen was fully equipped and located not too far away from Vik where you can get groceries from Kronan and food from nearby restaurants. It allows you to visit the southern attractions in Iceland"

"Property was good size and clean but was not as luxurious as shown in the pictures. Property had no view at all as it overlooked the main road and the supermarket car park on the other side of the road. Was very expensive for what it was but was fine for an overnight stay. However I would look for an alternative if staying in Vik in future. "

"Super easy to check in. Beautiful view outside. We sat outside our first night just to view all the amazing stars! Great location! Right next to the town for restaurants and also near the attractions we came for. All amenities were here. I would definitely recommend this place."

"Don't let yourself fool by the motel-like look of this place. The place is pristine, with brand new rooms, amazing breakfast and attentive personnel. Parking is available at the premises, and the location is minutes away from Vik."

"The Guesthouse is on a big piece of land with some abandoned buildings in the back. We almost missed the guesthouse building because the sign is not easier readable. The host has left the key and information of the room in an envelope at the door, so everything is self helped. The place is clean with a shared kitchen. The room and kitchen are bright."
