"In a really good position for getting into the city, with many bars and restaurants very close by, parking onsite is a little expensive (in my opinion) £25 per night. We found a parking spot 5 minutes walk away for £9 overnight, other than that definitely recommend this hotel."

"Stayed here for two nights and had a fantastic stay. The hotel is situated perfectly for exploring York and within 14 minutes walk of all you need to visit, ie York Minster, The Shambles, Jorvik Viking Centre and much more. Made two specific requests beforehand and both were met to complete satisfaction. Hotel staff very friendly, polite and helpful. "Stayed 3 night here in Scarborough at The Norbreck Hotel. I slept really well, my room was clean with beautiful view of the sea. I had a great time. Breakfast was great. I definitely will stay here again. "

"Staff were really friendly and accommodating. Child friendly, quiet hotel. Great breakfast with lots of choice and good quality. Rooms were clean and very practical for a family with one double bed and one sofa bed. Great location, two mins drive from park and ride which is an 8 mins bus ride into the centre of York. Hotel also 2 min drive to big shopping complex including Hollywood bowl and an Asda. "

"This hotel was lovely! Have everything you need and it’s super quiet! Staff are so friendly and helpful. Our room was ready 4 hours early so we were able to check straight in. Really handy as they have lockers you can leave your stuff in to go back and collect after you’ve checked out, saves you having to carry big bags and cases around York with you. We will definitely be back. Perfect location to, only a 10 minute walk to York city centre. "
