It’s unbelievable that this property would actually be featured by any travel site. The hotel is not yet completed, so there was construction noise first thing in the morning. Their walls, windows, and ceilings are paper thin so you could hear when other guests would play their music super loud or when they’d roam the hallways yelling at 2:30 in the morning as if they were on the prairie. No advisory signs, no hotel security intervening in any way so that the rest of their guests could sleep. We stayed for several days and the floor was never mopped so our socks were filthy and had to be thrown out. One evening, we used up our one hand towel and one washcloth that housekeeping neglected to refresh, so we asked for replacements at the front desk. The guy on duty requested that we walk our dirty towels over to the lobby first, then we could have fresh ones. On two occasions, there was no hot water available so we had to wait for their water heater to warm up. There is a restaurant on the premises but it was not good at all. We only dined there for breakfast once, then had to go out for every other meal during our long stay, even enjoying the breakfast buffet at a nearby hotel. There were several details that collectively made our stay very uncomfortable. We were there for multiple nights yet the tissue box, hand soap, and shower products were never replenished. The fact that the name of this hotel is not clear (Baja Inn OR Hacienda Del Rio?) created a HUGE problem when Ubering.
