"We were lucky enough to book this place last minute and so glad we did - it was amazing. Friendly hosts who provided a wonderful welcome basket of milk, juice, yoghurt, biscuits, crisps granola and bread which was a really thoughtful touch. "The house was amazing, especially with the lovely gallery of unique paintings by Colin Maclaren and marvellous views of the lake plus great for stargazing. "I’ll start with a positive, it’s a beautiful house with breathtaking views and if it wasn’t for the lack of attention to detail it would be worth the cost. "We absolutely loved this little house! We could see Lake Tekapo from the front porch and we grilled out and had dinner outside there one night. The place is super comfy clean and perfectly appointed with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. A short walk or drive into town brought you to shops a grocery and restaurants. The location was great and quiet and safe. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!"
