"The room was spacious, very clean, and quiet. Check-in was easy. The only negative to keep it from being 5 stars was the internet was next to useless it was so slow and kept dropping off. Our room was only 2 doors down from the office so was surprised the WiFi was so bad. If traveling to Telluride for the first time be aware that finding parking can be difficult. "Very nice older property right near Gondola. No ac in rooms and windows shut so quite warm when we checked in. The hot tubs and pool were very nice. We had some plumbing issues. Probably a bit overpriced compared to some other properties nearby. We were attending the bluegrass festival and that was fantastic!"

"This hotel is up a steep and long exterior metal stairway and is just a handful of rooms sandwiched between a busy restaurant and a roof top bar. The rooms are on either ends of the indoor part of the rooftop bar so when it gets cold and the people move indoors it gets loud. There is no one at the indoors bar to manage the bar customers so it’s up to the guests to manage the noise situation. "We absolutely loved our stay at the St. Elmo Hotel in Ouray! Such a charming historic hotel with so much character, right in the heart of town. The location was perfect for exploring Ouray, with restaurants, shops and beautiful mountain views just steps away. It was a wonderful stop on our Colorado road trip, and we loved the old-world charm and atmosphere. We would definitely stay here again! ❤️"

"The room was not very clean. The sink leaked into the wastebasket the whole time I was there. Told them the 2nd day. Was there a week. Staff was nice and friendly. Just seemed like they needed more help. Have stayed there several time and never any issues that weren't addressed."
