"Luray is a relaxing place meant for enjoying the beauty of the Blue Ridge mountains, the Shenandoah Valley, and a slower pace. There is adventure in fishing, rafting, hiking, and biking. There are no Gallerias or Malls. It is lovely and refreshing. The Mimslyn is perfect. The breakfast in the Circa 31 room is exceptional. The dinner and a drink in the Speakeasy is well done and much appreciated after a day exploring the area. We spent time fishing the South Fork Shenandoah and then came “home” to our base at the Mimslyn. Core memories."

"Room was clean and staff were friendly, bathroom was a bit tiny even from a hotel standpoint and even with do not disturb sign on door front desk staff called waking us up to see if we wanted housekeeping and was told no and with do not disturb sign still on door housekeeping knocked again asking if we wanted any service "
