The Maribel apartments in Puerto del carmen was one of the cheapest options and it suited us both fine. "The apartment had everything I needed except an iron and ironing board but I was able to hire them from reception for €10 for the week. The cleaning staff were amazing everyday. The block I was in was quiet with a lovely pool. Couldn’t fault it at all and would definitely recommend it to my friends."

"Get what you pay for , accommodation very basic and dated , doesn't bother me as it's only somewhere to sleep , breakfast was enjoyable in the more modern restaurant,pool fine and excellent location for venturing out ,Lots of restaurants n bars nearby "

"Nice apartment overlooking the garden. Issue with the kettle but that was resolved quickly and efficiently. Many restaurants within a five minute walk, and the local Spar at the end of the pathway."

"Absolutely loved this hotel. We were on a half board basis but everything was provided in the kitchen if self catering. Bungalow was lovely and right by the bottom pool. Television only had bbc news in English but you're on holiday and can catch up when back home. Food in restaurant was delicious and had different theme every night."

"Great hotel great facilities hotel staff really nice. Food wasn’t as good this time but lots of choice and there is always something that we like. Only let down was cleaners come very early sometimes and on one occasion missed our room entirely. Reception corrected this and arranged new bedding brought to our even though it was 9pm at night. "
