Yes maintenance work has to be done during the low season to keep our home looking good for years to come. Fresh produce is also a little harder to get during the low season as there is limited ferry plying the island. Please take note that WiFi is weak in this whole village due to remote location and limited infrastructure. Our land transfer from the jetty to the resort and back again is RM 60 per person and it is a standard rate with the taxis. Shower gel and shampoo are provided in all rooms. Should they run out in your room, do let us know during your stay and we would be happy to refill. We hope this clarifies the points raised.

Dear guest, thank you for staying with The Barat. We appreciate you comment and hope you enjoy the low season ( November till end January). I believe our technician had attend to your aircon problem and we sincerely apologized for the temporary breakdown. WiFi in the resort is currently limited to 1mbps due to infrastructure, however, we will be expecting a high speed WiFi to be install by March 2019 and hope if you come back again, we will be able to provide much faster internet speed. As we are located in a remote location, there are not many food stalls at the moment since your stay is during the low season. Please visit us again during the peak season starting from March as there will be more activities and food stalls, and you can experience a different atmosphere of Tioman :)
