This motel was so cozy and homey that I wanted to stay another night. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and had all the amenities to keep me from being homesick. I felt comfortable and safe and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend Motel Tipton!

Everything within the control of the owner/manager was perfect. Location is a bit remote and the convenience store across the street closes VERY early but that is not the Motel's problem. Very clean and the owner couldn't be more friendly and accommodating. Will stay again for a Hawkeye football game weekend.

Don’t let the word “motel” scare you away from this one! It is quaint, clean, and quiet. The rooms have been remodeled and are adorable, the staff are all super nice and accommodating.
