"Hi, the property was nice, but in the middle of the rice fields. They did not serve dinner, so you have to take a tuktuk to town. The room itself was large and beautiful, but the AC did not work and there was no fridge in the room."

"First of all, when I went to 'Palugaha pilgrim resort' it was locked. Even the mobile was not reachable. I had booked this thro' Expedia. Fortunately the auto rickshaw driver was knowledgeable about the place so took us to a nearby place. This did not have any name but there was someone to entertain us. He claimed that was the Palugaha resort & also said there was no intimation from Expedia reg my booking. However, he was kind enough to arrange the room for us. After that, everything was fine....

"It was extremely difficult to check out. They do not have the facilities for customers to use a credit card. The girl at the front desk is nice but she is over worked; she cooks, cleans, wait tables and acts as thr receptionist too. The room was not ready at 3:30. The owner does not have much understanding about working with Expedia.com. He spoke to me rudely on phone and I do not think he and his staff are properly trained in hotel buisness. "One of the best hotels among the more than a thousand hotels I have stayed in. There is absolutely nothing, not even the smallest issue. Everything is in perfect and well-maintained condition. If you have an eye for detail and know how difficult it is to achieve this level of quality, you can’t stop being amazed. The fact that something like this can even be built and maintained in such a remote location is an organizational masterpiece! The food is perfect for everyone and beautifully presented. The staff is professionally trained and very friendly and accommodating. The price-performance ratio is TOP and worth every cent. BIG PRAISE!!"
