"The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The hotel lobby is quaint and welcoming, and I appreciated that parking was available, even though it was about a four-minute walk from the hotel. The complimentary breakfast was okay. Unfortunately, there were a few issues with my stay. There was no hot water in my room, the bed was not made, and the trash was not emptied by housekeeping. "It's a tired property with tired staff. For example, the TVs in the room did not include coverage of the World Cup. You had to go to the lobby if you wanted to watch. Brutal. In this day and age, that's Motel 6. If I had been charged the Motel 6 price, it would have been okay. I wasn't. Much too much for what I received. Not even a free donut for breakfast. C'mon. Go elsewhere!"
