"An absolute pearl on the Kenyan coast. The location is quite and beautiful, with professional and super friendly staff and management. The food was amazing and served in wonderful atmosphere. "This was a very nice place to stay. Clean with friendly and helpful staff. Very good food and close to the beach. The only negative thing was that we sometimes had warm water and sometimes not. But overall, very satisfied and we are coming back."

"The Penthouse is a blissful experience and if you need anything Gilbert will ensure your get it. We asked if he could get us snapper and vegetables for dinner and he organised for it to be delivered and grilled for us by an onsite chief. It was delicious 10/10 and we could continue our holiday without worrying about food. Swahili house is everything we were looking for, Diani beach experience but more peacful without the crowds. "Great place to stay. I liked the food and the staff, very friendly. However, the local vendors can be a little aggressive and intimidating. They had events nightly on the resort so really no need to leave resort. Ran into some minor issue with Wi-Fi and room selections. Overall I would definitely return, minus the bees and flies. "

"This resort was the most Magical and Peaceful place I've ever stayed. The staff deserves a raise because of how attentive and nice they were. The breakfast was so delicious and there was endless options to choose from. I enjoyed my stay so much I didn't want to leave the property. The only suggestion I would have is to offer dessert on their menu. But I would recommend Tombo House to anyway who wants to enjoy nature and wants to get away from the boring ambience of chain hotels."

"The hotel is just as pictured - gorgeous views from everywhere on the property. The staff were lovely - friendly, always wanting to help, etc. The room was very comfortable and close to everything. As we were both somewhat unwell when we arrived, we would have liked a few more basic options on the dinner menu as our appetites were not there and it was difficult to find simple food that we felt we could handle. Otherwise a perfect stay!"

"Das Pinewood Resort ist ein sehr schönes Hotel mit ausgesprochen freundlichem Personal. Wir haben uns während unserem Aufenthalt sehr wohl gefühlt und waren mit dem Zimmer mit Meerblick wahrlich zufrieden.
