We only stayed for one night and it was very last minute which is why I didn't research that the only way to get there was by taking at least one ferry (which was full so we took another route and took two ferries). Just like the pictures! Very pretty, friendly locals, great pubs and eateries. We were lucky with the weather too.

It was so exciting seeing the famous Tobermory houses and was definitely worth the travel. If you are travelling by ferry Tobermory is about 30mins by car. Having your own car is beneficial to a trip to Tobermory so you can get about the Isle of Mull
