"Loved staying at Mackenzie Beach Resort! What a beautiful place right on the beach! The cabin was well stocked with the essential supplies, the bed and pullout couch were very comfortable and the place was spotless! Will definitely be back and recommend to all my friends and family!"

"The room was incredibly basic and very small, which for the money did not represent good value at all. It was very clean and housekeeping did a great job every day and it was quiet and peaceful at night and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was not great. We knew that the resort did not have its own facility and we used the restaurant across the car park on our first morning as recommended. The choice was incredibly limited and although the staff were friendly, it was totally inflexible as everything on offer was essentially pre-made and just heated on site. They are not geared up to provide a proper breakfast service. Luckily we found something much better in the town, but that meant a drive every morning, which isn't ideal. Everything else about the place was excellent. It's in a great spot and the views were magnificent."

"We totally enjoyed our stay at the bird sanctuary. In the morning, we sat outside on the deck and watched mostly the hummingbirds. It was so quiet and a great getaway. Ken pointed out some of the interesting places to hike and to eat on the island. We hiked at the lighthouse, the rainforest and the beaches. Had some delicious seafood."
