Books and pictures from long ago decorate the dinning room. The food is very good and good quality. I recommend having dinner on the first night. "In the middle of nowhere. Quiet place to relax. Near Germany (5 min by car). Old farm becomed hotel, conference place, wedding... Room quiet, large tv, big parking. Owner available to explain the history of that place and helpful. Only one improvement asked : increase the signal of wifi. Sometimes connection and none few minutes after. "

Upon arrival, the host told me that there had been a 'mistake' and that she had given the room away to other guests. She showed me my booking that she had printed out with BIG BLACK BOLD letters across the top confirming the room my type. So I am unsure how such an 'error' may have occurred.
