"Bula
We can't say enough positive about each and every staff member. They are all friendly, helpful, never make any request feel like a burden and know your name from the minute you arrive.
The room was clean and comfortable. The bar has limited selections but okay.
We were disappointed that there was 1 menu for each meal and it never changes. As we were in there in the low season, the buffet and traditional cooking night were not available. Food was prepared fine but lacked seasoning. There are no between meal options, fruit etc, available. If you like to snack, bring things with you.
The common areas really need some updating. The staff do the best with what they have, but the owner needs to put some money into paint, replacing pool decking and cushion etc.
This resort is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues, you take one boat from the marina and then have to change to a smaller tender boat to take you to the beach as there is no dock.
The ocean access from your Bure is very rocky and the sand coarse, recommend bringing water shoes.
We loved the staff singing to greet you and send you off."
"The resort is not 5 star in my opinion.
Plain drinking water was not freely available throughout the resort (we had to ask for bottled water). Our room was clean but fixtures were tired, broken or worn out some powerpoints were loose on the wall
* one bedside lamp switch worked but was taped up with electrocal tape
* there was no globe in the light above the phone desk
* there was no instructions for the phone and it only appeared to work on speaker
* there was no bottle opener in the room
* the wooden bed base creaked on the tile floor
* the room fixtures looked tired, faded (paint on sheer curtains and curtains coming unhhooked)
* hanging space for wet swimwear etc was non existent.
Staff were mostly friendly attentive but some could do better.
Restaurant food was ok, however, prices were expensive for what was offered. Bar staff only served from behind the bar. Wet weather seating in the bar area was scarce. Recorded music in the restaurant/bar was loud & annoying. Cabanas were hot & not inviting.
Gardens & buildings were not very well maintained and drainage improved. (Slippery tiles)"
"Really the only feedback i have is that there should be a nightly activity. But seriously if thats all that i can offer thats not a big deal. Solo traveller, made me feel special and welcomed when wanted and left me alone when i wanted. Perfectly relaxing. Safety is their top priority and appreciate all the extra efforts in ensuring that for all guests. Massage was amazing and can day enough about the bar staff. Vinaka for a relaxing few days!"
"Best place we’ve ever stayed. The room, setting, food, activities, everything were all absolutely amazing. A special shout out to the staff who are so wonderful, they remember who you are and go out their way to make sure you’re happy. Could not recommend more. Thank you from Alice & Ben! "
"We had a wonderful time & really enjoyed the effort made by the staff to ensure everything was to our liking. Tema, Tina, Ace, Sherry, Philly, Atu, & the whole team did a fabulous job. The food was exceptional & the kids club was next level. We wish the weather had been better but even with the rain, we still had a great time. Vinaka!! "
"This is a great location to experience Fiji for the first time. There are two beaches included in the resort that are walking distance to each other.
The food was great with lots of choice and good quality.
The cocktails at the pool bar and drinks were delicious made by Oscar and Seru.
A fantastic benefit was free and unlimited use of the kayaks, snorkels and fins.
The evening entertainment, in particular the singer and the choir were absolutely fantastic!
The sunset bus trip to the western part of the island was a gorgeous way to start the evening/finish a day relaxing. A wonderful addition to the resort. "
