"The location is suuuuper convenient because usually hotels in Toledo are very high up. First impression of the lobby is incredible, its absolutely stunning and quirky. Rooms have very nice windows and lots of art. Staff was super helpful. Will definitely be coming back in a year or two!"

"Great location and room. The only issue was the air conditioning even though it was new it did leak water and needed to be fixed. Other than this set back the room was new and interesting and was walking distance to a lot of sites."
Hacienda Del Cardenal

"Fabulous historic building in the wall of the 10th Century Toledo Fortress. Magnificent gardens along the lines of an Arabic walled garden. Beautiful spaces to sit in. No lunches served in the beautiful terraced garden outside despite dinner being served there in the evening. Inside the dining room was booked so missed the opportunity to have lunch. Evening meal was average. Wouldn't recommend. Some staff unhelpful in various parts of the hotel. No information about wifi, air-conditioning, breakfast times and location, checkout time or electricity card given on checkin. Not impressed as it took many trips to reception to sort these out. If you love beautiful gardens, authentic historic buildings and furniture, a great pool and stunning location the we highly recommend but be aware of the other issues mentioned above."
Parador de Toledo

"We stayed here for three nights in June 2026. This parador is on a hill overlooking the city so we are a captive audience for food but we have great views and easy parking. Check in was wonderfully helpful - Ada was fabulous and should be sent to Cuenca to train some of the front desk staff there how to actually engage with customers. Our room was another huge space, overlooking the pool and terrace. We met up at the café in the Parador for a light dinner, consisting of beef tenderloin and chips, which was a lot fattier than I expected so I ended up leaving a lot of it. We did make up for that by having four desserts though. After our light (!) dinner we went onto the main terrace to look at the view over the city, a magnificent medieval time capsule, mostly enclosed by the river Tagus. I slept until 6:30 and then got up to watch the sunrise. The hotel was totally deserted and even when I went back to the room at about 7:15 I hadn't seen anyone. I did watch lots of rabbits playing on the damp grass though. After another spectacular breakfast we took a taxi to the cathedral in the city. Taxi's were around 10 euro each way and far easier than trying to navigate the maze of streets and find somewhere to park. Overall the Parador was wonderful, fantastic views, lovely rooms and good staff. It would be nice if the cafe had some more basic quick eats options but that's really my only criticism."

"Excellent hotel, ideally situated just outside of the old town but close enough to walk or take the bus. Except that the bed was a bit softer for my taste, I have nothing to complain. The room was spacious with a terrace facing the old town and upgraded facilities. Also there was a pool. I would definitely return if I’m in the area. Cheers!"

"The hotel was very well designed and attractive. Our room was large and comfortable. The location was very convenient and though it was in the heart of Toledo, it was quiet. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We look forward to coming back to this hotel."
